Summer Wrap Up!

So it's been a while since I last posted anything on here so I'm going to put everything that has happened since my last post so it'll be a little long sorry for that.

First off we had our Cluff Family Reunion. Every year we have family skits and our family did a skit that was pretty funny.  My computer is having trouble uploading the video so maybe sometime else I'll try uploading it again.  Our skit was a dance, but midget style so Gabby was the feet and body while my mom her stood behind her was the arms and then Teil was the arms for Skye and I was the arms for Austin.  It was a really funny skit so I hope I can upload it soon.  Well, I do have some pictures from our reunion that are here. :)
On our way up to the reunion we were driving through mountain home and there was a huge fire!

These were the back of our shirts :)

Our family! Missing troy, nathan and mickie and family, and alex, and john

Soon after family reunion I went to Utah to visit my cousin at byu and pick up Jordan to bring her back to Boise :) We had a lot of fun. Not sure what Sidney's friends thought of us though! On our way home Jordan and I stopped off at Lagoon and spent a little while there.  We went on the sky coaster and it was a lot of fun!

Jordans hand came outta no where!

After my trip to Utah Hannah came back from Rexburg and I picked her up to take her to Melba! It was so good seeing her! Alli also came through Boise on her way to an Alaskan cruise! She stayed the night and we had some good talks! Got us looking forward to fall semester and all the fun we are going to have!

Now it is the final trip of my summer.  Nathan and Mickie couldn't make it to our family reunion, but they came by a few weeks after to visit everyone.  I went back to Kentucky with them for two weeks! It was so much fun and just nice to get out of Idaho for a while.  I love that side of the country! The drive was around 30 plus hours, but we all made it pretty sane I think :) Our one night in the car and the girls crashed out in the middle seat.

The Louisville Kentucky Temple

We went to Costco and Elijah liked that the bear was taller than him.  Crazy to think we have three of these bears in our house.

The last night I was in Kentucky me and my uncle went downtown and walked around
I saw a lot of different things from this troll to some hookers and some weird
statues that people tie their bikes up to.  It was pretty cool to see everything.

A beautiful sunset :)

My first weekend in kentucky we went to this amusement park in Ohio called Kings Island
It was so much fun! There were about 80 rollercoasters and the ones we were able to go on were awesome!
I also got to go on the longest wooden rollercoaster in the world and that was a blast!
The kids found some of the charlie brown clan and took some pictures with them!

I love these guys :)
I miss Kentucky and the people I met and my family there a lot! I know I'll be back soon though!

Now that I'm back we decided it was due time for some family pictures. So this past sunday we went to Kathryn Albertson Park and took some family pictures.  Tiana took these for us and they are great! We had a lot of fun taking them!

I got stung by a bee :(

Does this explain why our family is the way it is? :)

So as you can see we had a lot of fun with our pictures :) Again sorry for the length of the post! I'll keep up on it better!  I leave for school in a week and then it'll be on to another year of school and a new chapter of life.  Updates will come along with that :)

Fourth of July!

This first part isn't about the fourth of July, but I'll get there.  We went to roaring springs as a family and got totally roasted, but it was a lot of fun and a great way to cool off! The only picture I got from that trip was this one of Chase and Gabby.

Austin also saved up enough money to get his own car.  So we went and got that last week.  It's a pretty cool car. It's a 1974 VW Beetle.  It was fun to drive around and see the difference between his car and mine.  We call his the grandfather bug since it is an older version of mine.

Now for the Fourth of July! We had a lot of fun.  We ended up going out to our aunts house to do fireworks.  The boys got a little crazy with pop it wars and bottle rockets, but no one got hurt! Here are some pictures from it.

Austin and Teil also did some fun dancing around the fireworks and I took some videos and they turned out pretty good!

Happiness is the Secret to All

We have a had a very busy week over here this week! Fun, but very busy! It was the last week of school so we were running kids everywhere! Austin had an awards assembly where he made mvp of his basketball team and Gabby graduated the sixth grade! First off lets start with some pictures from Gabby's day!
This was our lets copy Jeran pose

This was the last day of school for all the kids.  They were a little excited all day long! That night we had a family picnic at the park for Jeran's dad.  It was the anniversary of his passing away so we thought we would all get together in memory of him. Austin drove us there and he did well, but in the beginning we were all a little nervous. Well, we all had dinner and it turned into a big waterballoon fight!

In other news there Austin got a haircut! Finally after years of trying to convince him to cut his hair he finally did it! And if I do say so myself he looks so good!

Now we have Gabby's birthday party! We got to have some family over for her birthday! She got a bear just like mine! Mine is named Fernando and so she named her bear Juanita and they are now married! hah!

Remembering Those Who Paid for Our Freedom

I know I just did a post yesterday, but it is Memorial Day and I think we need to do some reflecting and some thanking for the people that fought and died and are still fighting for our freedom.  They gave up so much for us to have everything that we do have now.  So, even though Memorial Day is almost over and it might be over by the time you read this still just take a moment and remember those that fought for us and thank them.  Thank the families that lost them and supported them through all their  hard work.
Today me and my mom took a little trip to middleton, emmett, and back to boise to visit some grave sites of the ones we love.  My great grandpa Seamons who served in our military and our Grandpa Millett who I didn't get the chance to meet served our country too.  These two men leave a great impression on our lives.  They were amazing men and did our country and families proud.  I am so grateful for their influence and hard  work.  I look forward to meeting my Grandpa Millett someday and reuniting with my Great Grandpa.

Some more grave sites that we visited that weren't apart of the armed forces, but still deserved our remembrance were my Great Grandma and Grandpa Cluff and my Great Grandma Seamons who was also buried with her husband.  It was really good to see all of their graves and just take some time to remember them and all that they did for me and their family.  I am very glad to have the gospel in my life and to know that I will be able to be with them again someday and to be able to see all of them in their perfect state.  It just brings happiness to something that can seem so sad.  I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day :)
